COVID-19 Policy

This policy is applicable to Covid-19 and any such variants. This is to protect and inform both staff and guests. 

Section 1 - Order processing and shipping

Please note that delays due to the result of Covid-19 regarding order processing or shipping may result in later delivery times and are out of our control. 

Section 2 - Sanitation and social distancing

All employees are acting under the Covid-19 Guidance: Employers, Workplace and Business rulings and continue to ensure that Covid-19 workplace regulations are followed, including but not limited to; cleaning work spaces, protection barriers (Plexiglass at guest service counter), frequent hand washing, social distancing, and wearing masks, as per current city, province and national legislations. 

Guests are expected to follow the same mandates as per current legislations including but not limited to; hand sanitation, social distancing, and wearing masks. 

Please note that we reserve the right to refuse service or product to guests who are not following legislation as mandated by city, province or nation. 

Section 3 – Covid-19 Exposure Procedure 

If any staff member is experiencing any Covid-19 symptoms or came in contact with anyone who had, or suspected they had, Covid-19, then they are not to come into the store or handle any iIvy products from initial speculation to confirmation of negative Covid-19 tests. 

Any guest who is looking to do in-store pickup, curb-side pickup or come in any contact with the store may be subject to the standardized questions, including but not limited to; have you or someone you live with been outside of Canada within the last 14 days? Are you experiencing any flu like symptoms or symptoms of Covid-19? Have you or anyone in your household come into contact with anyone who had, or suspected they had, Covid-19? 

Should any of the answers to these questions be “yes”, the staff may exercise their right to refuse service and/or product. If the guest has already purchased their order, they may choose for iIvy to ship the order, cancel the order, or have the order held. Please note that orders that are held may be canceled on the discretion of iIvy. 

Section 4 - Guest Service

Our guest service is a priority along with the safety of our guests and staff. We will do our best to handle any guest service inquiries while maintaining the safety of both our guests and staff with Covid-19 restrictions and polices. 

Section 5 - In Store 

As per section 2, all regulations set out by the city, province and nation must be followed by guests and staff at all times. 

Number of guests in store may be limited as per current regulations. 

Pickups may be permitted, however we may suspend the ability to pickup orders in store at any time. This may fall in line with current regulations, or as per iIvy’s decision for the safety of our guests and staff. Please note that these changes may happen at any time without prior notification. 

If pickups are suspended at any time, guests will have the option of iIvy shipping out the order, curb-side pickup (if applicable within regulations and offered as per the discretion of iIvy), cancelation, or put the order on hold until in store pickup has been made available again. 

Please note that on hold orders may be subject to approval. If the hold is indefinite due to lack of information on re-opening, orders may not be held. Guests will be notified if we are unable to hold orders. 

Section 6 - Curb-side pickup

If curb-side pickup is permitted as per regulations, we may offer that service. It is under the discretion of iIvy as to whether we will provide this service at any point.

A mask must be worn by both guest and staff during any transaction. 

Section 7 – Returns

All returns must be in good condition in original packaging and shipped back to iIvy. Dropping off returns require following the same guidelines as section 5 and 6.

Section 8 – Vaccination 

At this time, staff and guests are not permitted to ask for vaccination status. 

iIvy takes both staff and guest safety very seriously, and will follow legislation as directed by city, province and nation as it pertains to vaccination.
