About Us
Accessories are a big part of your overall experience and enjoyment of cannabis. We believe how you store, prepare and carry cannabis products should be as fun and delightful as the rest. We shouldn’t have to settle for accessories that are purely functional or something too tacky!
Starting from scratch, we set out to create a stylish collection of high-quality, well-designed accessories for the modern, adult cannabis consumer. The result is IIVY.
Starting during Covid was a challenge. But thanks to our extensive development contacts and design experience, hundreds of phone calls, emails and prototypes (successful and rejected), we were able to create and design our initial launch portfolio. And that’s just the beginning.
Our focus remains simple: curate a growing collection of high-quality, stylish products we are proud to use ourselves or give as gifts to our friends and family.
Meet Our Team
“The first cannabis accessory I ever bought was from the Friendly Stranger on Queen West. I was (and still am) a terrible joint roller. That joyful discovery changed the way I enjoyed cannabis forever. When we’re sourcing and designing for iivy, I aim to provide that same sense of surprise, delight and elevated experience for others.”
“I am always looking for the functional yet fashionable. When I was younger, I didn’t mind one or the other, but now I want something that fits into both. The cannabis accessories I’ve encountered have largely been about function over all, and lack that extra aesthetic vibe I’m looking for. I am so excited to be a part of iivy to bring new styles to everyone like me!”
“I have worked in retail and sales for over ten years and have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Being able to recommend the right product for my clients is something I take very seriously and I only sell products that I believe in. I believe in iivy and I’m positive that for both first time and frequent clients this product is sure to be a go to you won’t regret.”
What Our Customers Are Saying
Are the iivy canisters dishwasher safe?
To preserve the outer appearance of the canisters, please do not place them in the dishwasher. Cleaning should not be needed very often (if at all) but if you do wish to do so, please hand wash with dish soap and warm water.
How do I register my grinder for warranty?
Please visit (link to iivy.ca/warranty) for instructions on how to register your grinder.
How do I open the iivy locking tins?
Squeeze both sides at the buttons (indicated on the sides of the tin) and slide the cover back.
Can I put the canister in the fridge?
Yes – the canister is very much at home in the fridge! If you are using it to store Cannabis flower, refrigeration is not usually the best storage approach. The main goal in preserving the freshness of Cannabis flower (apart from an inert, light-tight and air-tight container) is keeping it at the right relative humidity (in and and around 62%) which is usually better maintained at room temperature. For butter, the fridge is perfect. For edibles, the answer depends on the type (e.g. gummies vs. baked goods).
How do I clean my grinder card?
If your grinder card becomes overly sticky with cannabis residue, isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol is very effective for cleaning. Dip an old toothbrush or hard sponge in alcohol and scrub-off the residue, rinse with water, pat dry with a paper towel or allow it to air dry. It should be good as new.
How long can I store my cannabis in the bag?
You can store your cannabis in the bags as long as you need to. To keep cannabis flower in optimal condition longer term, maintaining the correct relative humidity is key. We recommend using a humidity pack designed for cannabis (usually in the 62% RH range) to help keep it fresh inside.
What are the bags made from? How thick are the bags?
Iivy bags are multi-layered mylar with a total thickness of 130 micron (5 mil). We found this combination to be a perfect balance between protection and physical flexibility.
